Social Conservatism

Today’s National Post featured an article wrote by Don Hutchinson  who is vice-president of The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada and director of the Centre for Faith and Public Life located in Ottawa. He writes how historically social conservatism has been a catalyst for positive change, often standing seemingly alone in raising the moral standard. But as Mr. Hutchinson reports in his article , the social conservatives are not standing alone and continue to be a voice for social and ethical change in our nation.

I highly recommend the The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada as an excellent resource, lets remember to pray for these individuals who today like Wilberforce before them are taking a moral stand in our nation. We can always stand with them in prayer no matter where we are.
