Praying with Anglicans …

by Richard Long,

My wife Terry and I were asked to put together a team to provide prayer coverage for the Anglican Network in Canada Synod that is taking place this week in Ottawa.  We are grateful for the 20 or so intercessors who joined our team and who have been keeping the various prayer watches.

It has been an enriching time.  I’ve never been to a national denominational convention that was so full of prayer and worship.  Today we even had a spontaneous singing of the doxology after they voted on their new constitution!

If you would like a blow by blow description of what has been taking place (perhaps so that you can also keep them in your prayers) please go to our friend Kate Sanderson’s blogging at the Anglican Essentials Blog.

I especially appreciate all her notes on Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali’s talks.
