MPs in Their Ridings This Week

by Christine Dearden

Parliament is not sitting this week, meaning that MPs are back in their constituencies until session resumes on Tuesday May 25th. This is generally a busy time for MPs; they’ll be meeting with constituents, attending political and community events, managing things at their riding offices, and — with any luck — spending some quality time with their families.

Let’s pray for our Members of Parliament this week:

  • That their time in their constituencies will be profitably spent
  • That their work would progress swiftly, easily, and to good purpose
  • That they will have good times of connection with their families and “back-home” friends
  • That they will be able to return to Ottawa next week with fresh vision for their ridings and for the nation.
