Pray for those in Authority

                by Richard Long,

The Word of God, instructs us that we are to be people of prayer, using petitions, supplications, intercessions and thanksgivings in our conversations with God.  And the next thing it says is,  “pray for kings, and all in authority”. 1 Tim 2:2

That’s why the National House of Prayer in Ottawa exists.  Prayer teams come every week from somewhere in Canada, to stay with us and pray along with us in our Parliament, at our Supreme Court and in other situations that the Lord arranges.  More details on our main website.

We also provide a second website that is devoted to praying for M.P.’s and Senators by name.  Each day it features a different Parliamentarian.  Check it out at the Parliament Prayer Post.

Check out this NHOP Blog every day as our team writes about life here in Ottawa and also provides resources for your prayer life.
