We believe that the 120 Day Call to Prayer had a very significant impact of intercession for Canada which seems to have been preparation for this next assignment. Here we are at the beginning of an election and we are sensing the need to again ‘marshal the troops’ in prayer. Over these past few years the Church in Canada has demonstrated that across the nation we can be mobilized as a praying army for a specific assignment. We now believe that it’s a time to stand shoulder to shoulder with prayer ministries and intercessors from all across Canada as we face a federal election.
Some of the keys that makes this national mobilization so effective include:
* praying in unity from coast to coast across denominations and streams
* praying from a clean heart that is hungering after righteousness
* praying in agreement with God’s desires
These keys are the primary foundation from which a pure, untainted call of prayer rises from the hearts of Canadians with ever increasing authority.
So The National House of Prayer together with; Redleaf Prayer Ministries, the Canadian Prophetic Council, and My Canada /TheCry are joining ranks to send forth a synchronized call of prayer to our nation. We also want to encourage any other ministries and churches to join in with this specific call to prayer. To do so, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will contact you. We anticipate the growing involvement of other ministries and churches as the word spreads.
Every Friday we will be sending out our ‘Election Prayer 2011’ prayer post which will include more details, and key issues for prayer as things progress. Please be watching for these weekly bulletins, and pray with us for the election of the most righteous government our nation has ever had.
“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice.” Prov. 29:2
