Parliament is not sitting this week, meaning that MPs are back in their constituencies until session resumes on Tuesday May 25th. This is generally a busy time for MPs; they’ll be meeting with constituents, attending political and community events, managing things at their riding offices, and — with any luck — spending some quality time with their families.
Let’s pray for our Members of Parliament this week:
- That their time in their constituencies will be profitably spent
- That their work would progress swiftly, easily, and to good purpose
- That they will have good times of connection with their families and “back-home” friends
- That they will be able to return to Ottawa next week with fresh vision for their ridings and for the nation.
